We intend to be a church that is equipped to witness to the grace and mercy of God through the Gospel as we interact with our local community as Christ’s ambassadors.
Ministry Partners
Below are the ministry partners that we support.
Shane and Amy Darling
The Darlings serve on mission at The Fairhaven Ministries located in Roan Mountain, TN. Among many other things, they assist in the day-to-day ministry at Fairhaven as they seek to provide a place of rest and solitude for those who visit, especially pastors and missionaries.
Additionally, they have started their own ministry called The Hero Project in which they seek to bring healing to first responders in need of care.
Jeremiah Foster
Jeremiah and his family were previously members of our church body. Earlier in 2022, we lovingly and prayerfully sent them back to our sending church, Red Stone Church Johnson City, to serve on staff. Jeremiah works full-time for the church in many capacities and Madeline serves as the worship director as well.
Jennifer Vernon
Jennifer serves as the Discipleship Coordinator for Doe River Gorge Ministries. Her responsibilities will be connecting, coordinating, and developing the discipleship at DRG. Her position focuses on high school and college student leadership as she sets up systems for discipleship throughout each summer that follows the students as they return home, at their school, and in their churches. The hope is to grow their discipleship programs to be more connected within and in the community to have a yearlong focus. This would include at home, with our churches, local ministries, and ministries on all campuses that the students will return to in August. She also focuses on the overall spiritual health of full-time staff, and she encourages daily, monthly, and yearly Spiritual rhythms.

Missionaries
We seek to support missionaries as they endeavor to take the Gospel to the nations. Below are the missionaries that we currently support.
Andrew and Rachel Trott
The Trotts have been challenged to a task far greater than themselves because not everyone has access to the Good News, the Gospel, in their own language. Their aim is to be used by God through involvement in Church-Planting and Development among an unreached people group in Papua New Guinea. As they have come to know the Lord Jesus more deeply and personally they have become passionate about others knowing Him as well.
